Hello, welcome to my website.
A lot of people think that if we have animals then we have cash to spare, when in reality animal owners have no money because all of it goes on making sure that our four-legged friends are well looked after.
I have witnessed first hand the struggle that people face to keep their four-legged friends happy and healthy. I can appreciate the financial costs involved as I have owned my own animals from the age of 18 and competed the horses I have ridden and owned from the age of 21. |
With this in mind and based on my experiences working in the animal industry, I decided to create this website.
For people who, like me, have more than one animal to care for, it can often be a struggle when it comes to purchasing supplements or necessary products. Either the sizes available in the shops don't last five minutes or the larger sizes are difficult to get hold of. |
This was my beautiful Weimaraner.
I had him from a puppy and he filled our lives with endless fun and frustration. He liked to steal food and many times I thought we would be going to the vet when he ate something that he shouldn't have; aluminium foil after cooking chicken; bread still in the bag and whole sticks of butter. His absolute favourite treat was pears, though he was partial to apples and carrots as well, it was the pears he always went for first in the garden. This remarkably special boy was with us for 11 years before he died on the 7th January 2018. A truly loving and honest companion that will be sorely missed by all. |
Last, but in no means least, this is my little boy.
Born a semi-stray he has been with us since he was old enough to be rehomed. He came with his sister (I begged for days to have them both), and although they were almost identical, this little guy was wary of humans so we could always tell them apart. As you can see, he is now quite the attention hog. Unfortunately his sister died unexpectedly several years ago but he now has several adopted little sisters to keep him company. We haven't managed to teach any of them how to play fetch like his sister did, but they have all taught each other how to open the doors! |
